The incumbent will need to work very closely with the FS Key Accounts Managers, the Creation and Application teams, as well as the key stakeholders to support them to build FS business through Innovation & proactive concept creation. The position plays a key role in supporting IS Foodservice through effective planning and execution with all Marketing tools including strategic planning, consumer and market research, trend & taste analysis, menu mapping, consumer trends etc.

He/she will need to plan, lead and execute the FS initiatives supporting Kerry’s FS growth objectives and areas of focus.
 

Key responsibilities

  • Build an understanding of Kerry’s taste & Ingredients portfolio for Foodservice
  • Built Kerry strengths, main differentiation points, identify weakness and gaps to fill, with the business development teams.
  • Build an understanding of the Foodservice market, Customer needs and insights, through Menu analysis, food trends and other primary & secondary researches to support the development of a robust market driven portfolio based on the overall SWA FS strategy
  • Build relevant tools for internal as well as external audiences, such as Concepts, ingredients toolboxes, flavor trends, positioning and benefit statements.
  • Directs communication activities including Kerry company and brand identity campaigns, trade shows, web site, conferences, collateral, Public Relations, and customer engagement
  • Ensures technology marketing support for Kerry’s core capabilities, including innovation, industry intelligence and effective positioning for foodservice industry
  • Responsible for market intelligence around LTO mapping, menu analysis and building those into our Strategy
  • Responsible for identifying new channel development e.g., – Cloud Kitchen & new formats e.g. delivery, DIY etc
  • Liaise with global Kerry teams to leverage timely and appropriate use of Kerry’s resources
  • Be a subject matter expert within depth understanding of the Foodservice market trends, of our relevant technologies and their selling propositions, dynamics and players and support sales team.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the Sales team (Key account Managers) to ensure the overall technology push, messaging and key selling arguments are made relevant in a local context with local insights and inputs.
  • Responsible for building the FS Brand- from New product development, packaging to creating awareness of the Brand with the relevant Target audience
  • Management of communication assets such as brand guidelines, digital content, trade materials, packaging and partnerships (conceptual events, co-promotional events and print)

Qualifications and skills

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or business-related field. Additional MBA.
  • At least 12+ years of focused marketing experience and at least 8-10 years in the Food Service Marketing
  • Experience and knowledge on beverage category and building concepts for FS will be an added advantage
  • Requires strong presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate professionally and effectively in all forums.

  • Exhibits confidence and overall positive attitude. Maintains a “take charge” attitude, persistence, tenacity and drive focused on finding a way to accomplish objectives
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills, including Salesforce and MS Office Suite. Advanced experience using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize information and develop insights.
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is required. MBA or related master’s degree is preferred.
