About the role
To support the Production Process Lines with quality improvement and processes.
Key responsibilities
- Investigation of customer complaints and completion of response to customer.
- Internal investigation of non-conformances and subsequent close out. • Lead Root Cause Analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Participation in traceability activities.
- Complete Glass and Brittle Plastics audits as per schedule.
- Complete GMP audits as per schedule and follow up on actions.
- Calibration of equipment such as thermometers, scales, and other analytical instruments.
- Allergen and ATP swabbing activities.
- Review of analytical data, ensuring all documents have been completed correctly.
- Trend analysis of results to ensure consistent process control.
- Ensuring all computer tasks are completed in time.
- Generating reports as required.
- Any other tasks as requested by quality manager.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills in a factory environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and hands-on.
- Good communication skills.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the food industry.
- Knowledge of product certification programs like Kosher and Halal.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to lead continuous improvement and change management efforts.
- Familiarity with GFSI and GMP systems.
- SAP experience is a plus.
