About the role

To support the Production Process Lines with quality improvement and processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Investigation of customer complaints and completion of response to customer.
  • Internal investigation of non-conformances and subsequent close out. •  Lead Root Cause Analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Participation in traceability activities.
  • Complete Glass and Brittle Plastics audits as per schedule.
  • Complete GMP audits as per schedule and follow up on actions.
  • Calibration of equipment such as thermometers, scales, and other analytical instruments.
  • Allergen and ATP swabbing activities.
  • Review of analytical data, ensuring all documents have been completed correctly.
  • Trend analysis of results to ensure consistent process control.
  • Ensuring all computer tasks are completed in time.
  • Generating reports as required.
  • Any other tasks as requested by quality manager.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in a factory environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and hands-on.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the food industry.
  • Knowledge of product certification programs like Kosher and Halal.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to lead continuous improvement and change management efforts.
  • Familiarity with GFSI and GMP systems.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
