About the role

 

Location:    Otahuhu, Auckland (New Zealand) 

 

Reporting to:    Sales Manager, New Zealand
 

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for continually moving customers from direct sales to inside sales to drive agility, responsiveness, improved customer experience, growth and overall commercial operations effectiveness.  Providing critical support to our drive in making it easier and more valuable for our customers to do business with us, this role will enhance customer reach and relationships based on the Customer Segmentation model.  You will be responsible for leading with a strong collection portfolio and providing sales support by leveraging digital & tele-sales to improve our commitment with these customer segments.

Key responsibilities

 

•Owns the identified Inside Sales Accounts with the drive to grow this portfolio by identifying new and organic growth opportunities
•Leading Sales through Collections and continually driving Commercial Effectiveness through Collections
•Be a product expert on the Collections portfolio and communicate the Kerry value proposition
•Develop leads and seek opportunities to present additional Collection products to current customers
•Ensure the continuous improvement of the Customer experience for all customers serviced through the Inside Sales channel 
•Leverage digital and tele sales channels to drive opportunities in the identified Market / Accounts
•Work with the Country Lead & Marketing Team to identify opportunities for Accounts addressed by Inside Sales
•Ensure the relevance of our Collections Portfolio by timely Customer feedback and updating the long-term Collections pipeline based on market opportunity and insights
•Responsible to deliver positive results on the following KPIs:
  Organic Revenue Growth
  Organic Business Margin Growth
  Business Margin %
  Business Margin Progression (BPS)
  New Business Wins [Margin] and Hit Rate % [Margin] / Conversion Rate
  Revenue in Pipeline
  Average Call time
  Customer Engagement
  Usage of Marketing Collateral
  Response time to Enquiry

Qualifications and skills

 

•Sales professional with at least 3-5 years’ relevant working experience in Account Management for a complex, multi-national organization preferably in the Retail, FMCG or Food Service industry
•Solid understanding sales and account management practices and procedures with hands-on experience in tele-sales or digital selling for the New Zealand market
•Experienced in direct interaction with customers and decision makers on the executive level of a company, ideally with a good understanding of New Zealand’s food and beverage industry
•Comfortable managing both internal and external relationships that incudes Commercial/Sales team, General Management, Customers and other stake holders of different cultures
•Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
•Hands-on experience operating in a highly matrixed organization, exhibiting ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a wider team
•Technologically savvy, with a degree in business, marketing or related fields of academic study; prior experience in using SAP, Salesforce and MS Excel will be preferred 
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high proficiency in the English language
