Quality Manager

Key responsibilities
  • To maintain compliance to defined Kerry and customer policies, Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Standards and product specifications.  Promote a high standard of awareness and understanding at site level of all appropriate policies, procedures and product specifications.  
  • Perform audits, including layered confirmation to ensure compliance to standards, work with relevant parties to support root cause analysis and corrective actions. 
  • Facilitate Continuous Improvement by continuously improve standards set by facilitating and executing 8 Step Practical Problem Solving and other appropriate KPS methodologies. 
  • Manage Quality Assurance through adherence to GMP to deliver agreed product specifications as defined in quality standards and policies. 
  • Facilitate the implementation of Quality Standards by ensuring the necessary training, coaching and support is made available to the Production Streams and other functional areas.  Empower Production Streams to undertake quality training activities by the QSHE team. 
  • Manage Factory Audits (Including Customer and 3rd Party) as it relates to factory aspects.   Manage the resolution and close out of issues / incidents which have been identified as part of the audit process in good time to ensure a full and successful audit close-out with the Quality Systems Manager. 
  • Work with the production teams to complete investigations (microbial, customer complaints, PIIRs, etc.). 
  • Play an active role in the Customer Satisfaction Meeting. 
  • Use OAL sleeve checking system.
Qualifications and skills

Experience within a Quality management role, preferably within a high care food manufacture, including proteins and allergens.

Education - Degree level or equivalent.

Auditing qualification (internal or otherwise), proven experience of succesful auditing.

HACCP Level 3

Food Safety in Manufacturing Level 3
