About The Role

The Sales Support Specialist is an extension of the sales function, their primary purpose is to manage customer requests in relation to existing and potential opportunities on behalf of Sales teams


They will be responsible to provide ‘best in class service’ to our customers by ensuring consistency of approach in dealing with their queries in an efficient, timely and accurate manner


The Sales Support Specials will be as well responsible to adapt and develop ways of working with a view to enhancing the role and identifying further efficiencies and process improvements


The succesful candidate will be fluent in both French and English 

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilizing Kerry System’s (SFDC/SAP/…) on behalf of Sales Team
  • Creation of Opportunities, call reports, samples, tech/regulatory docs, etc.
  • Pipeline Maintenance
  • Issuing price quotes and follow up to understand if accepted or rejected and reflecting in systems. Support the Mainland Sales/Finance team with preparation, issuing and progress of annual price letters.
  • Front Office to Middle office Bridge
  • Link to Customer Care in Naas for base of customers, ensuring full knowledge of key customer issues and actions.
  • Link to Demand Planners to facilitate/provide customer forecast
  • Link to Account Receivable to have full knowledge of customer account status
  • Link to Master Data team to ensure customers data is kept up to date.
  • Support Account Manger on customer presentations and visits.
  • Ad hoc sales support as required by Manager

Personal Competencies

  • Strong analytical and project management Skills
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
  • SAP SFDC Knowledge would be an asset
  • Good planning and organizational skills, with strong focus on rigorous execution.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Excellent networking skills

Qualifications and Skills

  • Candidate should preferably have a bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent level of experience)
  • Strong project management Skills
  • At least 2-5 years of experience working cross functionally – particularly Sales, RDA, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Care
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • English, French are mandatory. Knowledge of Spanish, Italian would be an asset
