About the role

Can be located anywhere in the US, close to major airport hub.

This is a very fast paced and dynamic role for someone who is seeking to grow their sales experience in a global organization focused on inspiring food and nourishing life. 

 

The Account Manager will be responsible for positioning and promoting KERRY’s newly acquired Ariake Product Portfolio across a specific base of customers, broker and distributor networks.  This role will be responsible for driving growth through the development and maintenance of assigned accounts. 

Key responsibilities

You will need a keen eye for seeking out new business opportunities within existing accounts and creating opportunities with new customers.  This entrepreneurial role will require a high degree of creativity, value proposition selling and excellent customer engagement skills to support and grow existing platforms and identify new categories where value added product can be created. 

  • Item Recaps/Updates, 4/13/YTD Reports (by Category), 4/13/YTD Reports (entire business), Item Detail Reporting, Weekly Feature Sell Thru, Promotional Reporting/Tracking, New Item Trackers (every modular change), Hurdle Rate Trackers, Scorecards, Zone Pricing Update, Execution of Trade Strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to increase volumes and decrease cost to improve ROI of all activities.
  • Manage a large portfolio of diverse projects across Kerry functions in order to service retail customers using Salesforce.
  • Provide innovative, customer focused ideas to retail customers by understanding their brands, platforms and strategies.

Qualifications and skills

  • Can be located anywhere in the US, close to major airport hub.
  • Must speak Japanese, as well as English to support the base of customers.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with preference in Business, Communications, Food Science, Chemistry OR related discipline. 
  • 2+ years of progress experience in sales or technical sales focused on food ingredients and technologies. 
  • Must be able to travel up to 30%. 
  • Able to negotiate and communicate pricing positions and increases.
