About the role

Where you'll work:

Our Rothschild, WI location is part of our Applied Health and Nutrition division and is responsible for our biopharmaceutical needs for Kerry customers and brands. This site is one of two that works with specialized lactose protein within the Kerry organization! People may not realize we're more than just great taste when it comes to food and beverage products - we truly are committed to nutrition and sciences as well!

 

Second shift – 2PM-10PM, Mon-Fri

$34.70/hr + .65 cents shift diff

On Call Rotation

The starting wage for this role is $34.70 per hour.  This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime.   In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements). 

Key responsibilities

  • You’ll work with the Maintenance team to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion. You’ll follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations.     Important areas of operations you’ll work on (but are not limited to):

    •Clean and lubricate shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery

    •Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic steam, pneumatic equipment

    •Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related equipment

    •Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep

Qualifications and skills

  • Strong PLC programming experience is required.
  • Certification of Vocational School, Journeyman card in E&I or Millwright, Associates degree in Industrial Technology.
  • 2-5 years' experience in manufacturing (with education) or 6-10 years in maintenance related position (without education) preferred.
  • Possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of some or all of the following: ◦Stainless Steel Welding/Fabrication
  • Ability to be or become or is a Sanitary Certified welder. (Outside certification)
  • Piping systems
  • Electricity
  • Process control instrumentation
  • HVAC systems
  • Process equipment
  • Personal Computing

 

 

Experience:

1 year in related field

On Call - Must be available for emergency call-in to perform equipment and system repairs on a rotating basis per established procedures to insure equal distribution of call-in responsibilitie
