About the role

We are hiring a SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Developer with experience in SAC Planning development to join our Data Insights & AI team within the Data Science and Engineering Centre of Expertise at Kerry Group. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing and supporting planning models within SAC. You will have a detailed understanding of planning processes and be able to translate these into best of breed planning models in SAC. You will work closely with other teams and must demonstrate an ability to deal effectively with stakeholders across different levels of the organization in an effective manner. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to drive the landscape of this area.

Key responsibilities

• Work with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate these into scalable and performant planning models. 
• All stages of development from design, build test and deploy planning models in SAP Analytics Cloud including scripting of Data Actions.
• Understand what impacts performance in SAC planning and devise solutions that meet business expectations. 
• Build a deep understanding of the planning processes within Kerry in order to provide timely support to business user, especially during critical planning windows. Liaise with 3rd party support providers as necessary. 
• Work with 3rd party partners as required to deliver SAC projects or provide support to the system.
• Design and build SAC stories/applications on live or imported data models. 
• Maintenance of security of the SAC user base for both planning and analytics. 
   

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or another quantitative field.
• Experience in SAP Analytics Cloud planning & analytics functionality including experience in scripting. 
• Previous experience in planning processes in a large, global organization. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams. 
• Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders and to be approachable to discuss existing or new solutions. 
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
