About the role

Here at Kerry, we're currently recruiting for a Global Content Manager, with a focus on Brand Content. This is full time, permanent position based on a hybrid basis from Naas, County Kildare, Ireland.

You will be able to craft creative, engaging content to highlight stories about our people and projects, whilst also being able to fully understand and articulate our internal Kerry values through the content you produce. 

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate understanding of SEO optimisation, paired with experience of AEM (Adobe Experience Manager).

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement compelling storytelling strategies that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives for various Kerry channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing communications and internal communications team to deliver persuasive copy that effectively communicates our brand message and engages customers, investors, and employees. 
  • Create engaging and impactful content across various digital platforms, including social media, blogs, websites, and video.
  • Write persuasive and engaging copy that effectively conveys key messages and promotes brand awareness, customer engagement, and conversions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce visually appealing content that aligns with the overall brand strategy.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and understand our target audience, their preferences, market movements, competitor activity and market trends to tailor storytelling approaches that resonate with their needs.
  • Convey stories effectively and creatively across a variety of mediums.
  • Conduct interviews and gather information from internal and external sources to create authentic and compelling stories.
  • Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Analyse and measure the performance of storytelling initiatives, using data and insights to optimize future strategies.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in digital storytelling, incorporating innovative approaches into our content creation.
  • Work closely with the team to comprehend project requirements, target audience, and brand guidelines to produce impactful and relevant content.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, creative writing, advertising, or other related field would be a distinct advantage 
  • Experience in an agency, in-house, or with a publisher, preferably at mid-senior level. 
  • Proven experience in digital storytelling, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creativity and ability to engage audiences.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for digital content creation.

  • An ability to clearly and articulately communicate complex topics in simple, easy to understand ways 
  • A deep understanding of various digital platforms and their storytelling potential, including social media, blogs, websites, and video-sharing platforms.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to work tactfully and respectfully with a wide variety of individuals, stakeholders, and partners
  • Must demonstrate aptitude for ongoing learning and application of newly acquired knowledge
  • Strong research skills, with the ability to gather and analyse information from diverse sources.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in the utilisation of various communications channels, and should possess excellent organisational and time management competencies
  • A passion for storytelling and a creative mindset, always seeking new ways to captivate and engage audiences.
  • The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a master storyteller, and possesses exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Strategic thinking ability with balanced analytical and creative approach  
  • Experience successfully bringing together people from different disciplines, internal and external to achieve desired outcomes  
  • Interest and desire to keep abreast of new developments in marketing and web/mobile technology  
  • A natural curiosity, an inclination for discovery, and an ability to articulately apply that curiosity to business relevant opportunities
