About Charleville

 

The food ingredients products include skim milk powder for the infant and nutritional sector.

What will I be doing?

 

  • Ensuring Quality System Compliance to HACCP, applicable Global Standards, Regulatory Agencies and Accreditation Bodies
  • Working closely with site management, drive a culture of continuous improvement across functions including, Operations, Engineering and Quality
  • Perform Risk Assessments, develop and implement Quality Assurance Action Plans
  • Maintain and improve product quality through managing Quality Systems, Quality Objectives and delivery of KPI’s
  • Ensure in depth process knowledge of unit operations including Pasturization, Evaporation, Spray Drying and Packaging
  • Lead team development through coaching and development initiatives.
  • Management of internal & external Audit schedules. Site readiness and liaison with external agencies in the arrangement, conducting and follow-up of external audits
  • Management of all Quality System elements- including:
  • Quality Reviews, Management of Change, Documentation Control. Validation / Qualification, Quality Agreements, Deviations and Investigations, Specifications, Batch release, CAPA, Audits, Customer Complaints
  • Oversee Food Safety, Hygiene and GMP standards on site
  • Provide guidance & support for new and on-going projects throughout the site

What do I need in order to be successful?

 

    

  • Minimum of an Honors Science degree in Food, Pharmaceutical, Microbiology or equivalent related discipline.
  • 3+ years Quality Management experience in a food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience in Spray-drying & Evaporation technologies is an advantage
  • Experience in Validation (Facility, Equipment, Utilities, Process and Cleaning)
